1 Introduction: Amazon Alexa: Change the Name
Amazon's Intelligent Personal Assistant's name is, by default, Alexa. The name is also your connected device's wake word. If you want to wake up your device, you simply say "Alexa". But what if somebody in your family is named Alexa too? You'd probably want to change the wake word in order to stop unwanted activations.
This guide will explain how to change Alexa's name.
