1 Introduction: Amazon Echo Show: Factory Reset
If your Amazon Echo device is unresponsive or you want to give it to someone else, you can reset it to factory defaults.
2 Amazon Echo Show: Factory Reset
If you're having trouble with your Echo Show, restart your device first to see if it resolves your problem.
To restart your Echo Show follow these steps:
- Unplug the power adapter from the back of the device or from the wall outlet.
- Then plug the power adapter back in.
Resetting the device to factory defaults will erase all your personal information and settings on it.
If you still want to proceed, do the following:
- Just say "Alexa, go to settings" or swipe down from the top side of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and go to Device Options.
- Then tap on Reset to Factory Defaults.
- Tap Reset to confirm you want to proceed.
