Authored by: Support.com Tech Pro Team

1. Introduction

Xfinity xFi whole-home mesh networking equipment has the ability to extend WiFi to every corner of your home due to its expandable and modular nature. However, its modular nature also means that if a single xFi pod or the gateway itself is having an issue, your devices may lose their internet connection. Thankfully, Comcast offers the Xfinity xFi app which makes checking the internet connection of your entire xFi system easy to do. This guide will demonstrate how to use the Xfinity xFi app to check the internet connection of your entire xFi system, including any xFi pods your system may have.
