How to Add a C by GE C-Reach Bridge to Google Home

Introduction

This guide will help you link your C-Reach Smart Bridge with Google Home to be able to control your C by GE light bulbs with only your voice. The C-Reach Smart Bridge allows you to connect your Bluetooth-enabled C by GE light bulbs to your home's WiFi and add them to your C by GE account. By doing this you can not only control your light bulbs when you're away from home but also link them with Google Home to control them with only your voice by speaking to Google Assistant.
Before You Begin:
Your smart bridge must be already set up
Your smart speaker must be already set up

1 Link C by GE Device

  1. Launch the Google Home app.
    Google Home.
  2. Tap Add on the main screen.
    Add option highlighted in Google Home app.
  3. On the Add and manage screen, tap Set up device.

  4. Under Works with Google, tap Have something already set up?.
    Have something already set up option highlighted in Google Home app.
  5. Scroll through the list of smart home device providers and look for C by GE. Since the list is rather long you can also tap Search and enter the name to locate it quicker.

  6. Select C by GE.

  7. Sign in with your C by GE account and allow Google Assistant to control your C by GE devices using your voice.

  8. You'll be shown a list of devices that were imported from your C by GE account.
  9. Select a home and room for each device that was imported.
  10. You can now give voice commands to Google Assistant to control your linked devices.
