How to Add a C by GE Light to Google Home

1. Introduction

In This Guide

You'll Learn:

• How to link your C by GE Smart Lights with Google Home.

You'll Need:

• Your C by GE and Google accounts' credentials available.
• The Google Home app to be already installed on your mobile device.
• Your C by GE Light to be already installed and set up within the C by GE app on your mobile device.
• Your C by GE Light to be already connected to one of the following:
• C-Reach Smart Bridge
• C by GE Smart Switch
• C by GE Smart Plug

2. Link C by GE Device

1. Launch the Google Home app.
   

1. Tap Add on the main screen.
   

1. On the Add and manage screen, tap Set up device.
   

1. Under Works with Google, tap Have something already set up?.
   

1. Scroll through the list of smart home device providers and look for C by GE. Since the list is rather long you can also tap Search and enter the name to locate it quicker.
   

1. Select C by GE.
   

1. Sign in with your C by GE account and allow Google Assistant to control your C by GE devices using your voice.
   

1. You'll be shown a list of devices that were imported from your C by GE account.
2. Select a home and room for each device that was imported.
3. You can now give voice commands to Google Assistant to control your linked devices.
