This guide will show you how to link your TP-Link smart plug to Microsoft Cortana. Cortana is a virtual assistant developed by Microsoft that can recognize human speech and allow you to manage or control your smart home devices with your voice only. You can link your device to Cortana using either a phone, tablet or Windows PC.

This guide will show you how to link your TP-Link smart plug to Microsoft Cortana. Before You Begin:
Your smart plug must already be set up

  1. Launch the Microsoft Cortana app.

  2. Go into the Menu.

  3. And select Notebook.

  4. Then go to Connected Home.

  5. And switch on the toggle under Enable Connected Home.

  6. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use with Cortana.

  7. Select TP-Link Kasa from the list.

  8. Tap Connect and login with your Kasa account.

  9. Now you can give voice commands to Cortana to control your linked device.

  2. Start typing anything to bring forth the search feature then click on Notebook.

  4. And toggle on the switch under Enable Connected Home.
