2. Resolution

Factory Reset

1. Open the door and keep the lock bolt in the unlock position.
2. Open the battery box to access the reset button.
3. Using a pointed object, press and hold the reset button.
4. Keep the reset button held down while removing and replacing one of the batteries.
5. Keep holding the reset button down until you hear the voice guidance.

Join the Z-Wave Network

1. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Inclusion on the Device Discovery page.
2. Touch the lock screen with your hand to activate it.
3. Press * twice, followed by your master PIN code and #
4. Digits 1-8 on the keypad should lightup in response.
5. Enter 8, followed by 1 to put the lock into inclusion mode.
6. NOTE: It is recommended that you delete all user codes from the lock if any are previously existing and use Hubitat Elevationâ„¢ Lock Code Manager to program the lock.

Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network

1. You must have your lock first connected to the August App
2. From the Hubitat Web Interface, go to the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
3. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
4. Touch the lock screen with your hand to activate it.
5. Press * twice, followed by your master PIN code and #
6. Digits 1-8 on the keypad should lightup in response.
7. Enter 8, followed by 2 to put the lock into exclusion mode.
