1 Add an App to Roku
Roku prefers to call their apps, "Streaming Channels". Besides that, they function the same way as the apps on any other platform.
To add an app to your Roku, do the following:
- Press the Home button on the remote.
- Go to Streaming Channels.
- Find the app you wish to add. There are two ways to do it:
- Either browse through the Categories on the left and look for the app in the right pane.
- Or go to Search Channels and type in the name of the app.
- Either browse through the Categories on the left and look for the app in the right pane.
- Select the app once you found it and then select Add channel.
- Wait for the app to get added.
- You'll get a confirmation message when the app was added. Select OK to finish.
