Introduction
Before You Begin:
- Be sure your professionally-installed and managed Xfinity Home system is functioning properly.
Supported Sengled Bulbs
At this time, only a few, very specific Sengled bulbs are supported by the Xfinity Home system. You do not need an additional hub; your supported Sengled bulbs will connect and be controlled directly from your Xfinity Home system.
1 How to Install the Bulb
- Turn off the power to the lamp or light fixture where you want the smart light.
- Remove your old bulb.
- Carefully screw in your new Sengled bulb.
- Turn your light on.
2 Add a Smart Home Device to the Xfinity Home App

- Select More in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Add a Device.
- Select your device.
- Follow the instructions on screen to link your account to your Xfinity Home system.
Using A Device
Once linked to your Xfinity Home account, you can assign triggers to your home automation devices, controlled by Xfinity Home.
- Open Xfinity Home.
- Select Automation at the bottom.
- Here you'll find all your current scenes and rules. Select Add in the top-right corner to add a new rule.
- You'll find a list of different, simple rules you can customize. Each will walk you through creating a rule to automate a light or device in your home.
