THIS GUIDE WILL HELP CALIBRATE SOUND ON HERMAN JBL BAR 5.1
The JBL Bar 5.1 transforms from a soundbar into a true wireless 5.1 home theater system for an epic movie and music-listening experience. The soundbar features two detachable battery-powered wireless surround speakers with up to 10 hours of playtime, 510W of total system power, a 250mm wireless subwoofer, and three HDMI inputs to connect 4K devices, and Bluetooth.

Wireless Surround Sound
With the audio calibration, your surround sound experience will be optimized for your favorite seating and speaker positions.
Calibrate the listening zone
Place the detachable rear speakers beside your seating position.
• Make sure that the two detachable speakers have been connected to the soundbar
On the remote control, press and hold HDMI until “1-CALIBRATION†is displayed on the soundbar.
→ Countdown starts from 5 to 1.
→ Calibration tone is heard. Audio calibration starts.
→ “CALIBRATINGâ€: Calibration is ongoing.
→ “1-DONEâ€: Calibration of the listening zone is completed successfully
Calibrate the Speaker Position
Place the detachable rear speakers in your desired location.
On the remote control, press and hold HDMI until “2-CALIBRATION†is displayed on the soundbar.
→ Countdown starts from 5 to 1.
→ Calibration tone is heard. Audio calibration starts.
→ “2-CALIBRATINGâ€: Calibration is ongoing.
→ “2-DONEâ€: Calibration of the listening zone is completed successfully
To select suitable surround sound, press the button marked Rear repeatedly to switch between high, low, or middle (default).
During calibration, all buttons on the remote control are disabled except for Power Button and HDMI.
“SETUP FAILED" is displayed if calibration failed.
