2. Check Status

You can check the status of your D-Link DAP-1650 AC1200 Range Extender in one of two ways:

  • On the device itself,
  • On a computer.

The type and amount of network related information that you get depends on which method you use.

On Your Range Extender

  1. The indicator lights on the D-Link DAP-1650 AC1200 Wi-Fi range extender have the following meanings:

  1. Power LED (1):
  2. Solid Green
Solid green light.
  1. On and functioning properly.
  2. Blinking Green
Blinking green light.
  1. WPS has been pushed and searching for signal.
  2. Solid Orange
Solid orange light.
  1. Device is booting up.
  2. Blinking Orange
Blinking orange light.
  1. Device is in recovery mode.
  2. Internet LED (2):
  3. Solid Green
Solid green light.
  1. Successfully connected.
  2. Blinking Orange
Blinking orange light.
  1. A firmware upgrade is in progress.

Light is off.

On Your Computer

  1. Launch the browser that you use to go online.
