Your TCL Roku TV provides you with access to stream audio and video from the internet. For this to work, the TV must maintain a good connection to your network and the internet. You can check the quality of this connection at any time on your TCL Roku TV. This guide will show you how.
2. Check Network Status
Press the Home button on the remote control.
Go up or down to Settings.
Then go right to Network.
Go right again to About.
Here, you should see the network status, whether it's wireless or wired.
If your Roku TV is connected wirelessly, there are 2 items to check:
Signal strength: A measure of the strength of the wireless signal from your router.
Internet download speed: A measure of the speed of your internet connection. The date of the connection check is also reported.
If your Roku TV is using a wired connection, only the Internet download speed will appear.
Excellent or Good results likely mean the connection is functioning without issue. However, a Poor connection can lead to playback issues or other unpredictable behavior.
