How to Check Your Google Account History
1 Introduction: Google: View Account History
Google stores and keeps track of things you do, search for, and install across all platforms to help improve your experience. You can view and manage your activity though your Google account.
This guide will show you how to check your Google account activity.
2 Google Account: Navigate to Site
- Navigate to https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity in a web browser.
- If prompted, Sign In
- Click the Sign In button.
- Type in your email address and click Next.
- Type in your password and hit Next
- If you have 2 Step Verification, you will be prompted to follow additional instructions.
- Click the Sign In button.
- Verify you are signed into the correct account by looking at at the profile icon located in the top right hand corner of the screen.

You can choose between Bundle View, Item View, or Other Google activity by clicking on your preferred view in the navigation pane.
Bundle View
Bundle View will group items by category and show you the latest in each. You may click on any grouping to view other items in the group.
Item View
Item View shows all items ordered by chronological order. These items are not grouped up by category.
Other Google Activity
Other Google Activity has some additional activity that you can view. This section includes additional activity and preference settings not displayed on the main page.
Location History | Displays your Location History, the private map of where you go with your signed-in devices. |
Device Information | Stores a copy of the contacts, calendars, apps, and other data from your devices. |
YouTube "Not interested" feedback | Remove videos from your YouTube recommendations. |
YouTube survey answers | Improves the relevance of content and ads that you and others may see on YouTube and other Google products. |
Comments on YouTube videos | View, edit, and delete your public comments and replies on YouTube videos and discussions. |
Comments on YouTube Community posts | View and delete your comments and replies on YouTube Community posts. |
YouTube likes and dislikes | See and delete your likes and dislikes on YouTube videos. |
Download your data from My Activity | Export a copy of your data shown on My Activity. |
Google Word Coach | Used to personalize your game experience and show words that are more relevant to you. |
Google Ad Settings | Controls the information Google uses to show you ads |
Place answers | Manage your answers to questions from Google about places, including places you've been. |
Interests & notification subscriptions | This includes topics you follow, movies you've liked or disliked, events you've saved, and some notifications you've subscribed to in Search |
Call & Message Information | If you use Google services to make and receive calls or send and receive messages, like Google Fi and Google Voice, Google may save information about your call or message history. |
Google Play library | See and delete your Google Play library activity, like your app, movie, and book purchases. |
News Preferences | See and delete your preferences about News. |
My orders | View your order history from services like Google Play, Google Express and Google Assistant. |
Data shared for research | If you participate in Google research studies your responses may be saved with your Google Account. You can download your response data by selecting the "Data Shared for Research" product on the https://takeout.google.com/, then creating your archive. |
Gboard learned words | Your Gboard learned words help you with spelling and to predict searches you might be interested in. When Sync learned words is turned on for a device, your learned words are saved to your Google Account to use across devices. |
Google app podcast subscriptions | See and delete the podcasts you're subscribed to in the Google app. |
Google product surveys | See and delete your answers to survey questions that help Google improve our products. |
Data archive history | See your history of data archives that you’ve created, downloaded, and exported from the Google products you use. |
If you wish to remove your Google account activity, there are a couple ways this can be done.
Delete a specific entry
- Click the menu icon to the right of that item you wish to delete.
- Click on Delete.
Delete by date range and product type
- Click on Delete activity by.
- Choose a date or select a date range.
- Choose the product you would like to delete data for.
- Click on DELETE.
- Click on Activity Controls.
- Here you can toggle items on or off for each category that Google can track.

- Click the profile icon in the top right of the page.
- Click Sign Out.
- Click the Sign In button.
- Type in your email address and click Next.
- Type in your password and hit Next
