How to Connect to Bluetooth on an Amazon Fire Tablet

1 Pair Bluetooth
Depending on which generation of Fire Tablet (Kindle Fire) you have, the menu theme and options might look slightly different on your screen. The following steps outline 4th generation devices and onward.
The following steps require you work with both your Fire tablet and whatever Bluetooth accessory you wish to pair with it.
On Your Bluetooth Accessory
- Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is discoverable by turning on the Bluetooth functionality.
On Your Fire Tablet
- Swipe downwards from the top side of the screen.
- Look for Settings in the drop down menu and tap on it.
- Then tap on Wireless.
- Next tap on Bluetooth.
- Make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled by flipping the On / Off switch to the orange position. This will make the Fire tablet discoverable. Then tap on Pair a Bluetooth Device.
- A list of available Bluetooth devices should appear. If no devices are found then tap Scan.
- Tap the Bluetooth accessory you wish to pair it with your Fire tablet and then follow any additional pairing instructions.
