How to Control C by GE Smart Lights with Alexa

You must speak to your Alexa-enabled device to control your C by GE lights.

When addressing your lights, you can say “lights”, the name of the room / group your lights are in, or the name you assigned your lights. You can choose alternate words for the same voice command: set / turn / make / switch / change / activate / deactivate.

Turn the Lights On / Off

• "Alexa, lights on / off."
• "Alexa, turn lights on / off."
• "Alexa, turn <light name> on / off."
• "Alexa, turn <group name> on / off."

Brighten / Dim the Lights

• "Alexa, make lights brighter / dimmer."
• "Alexa, brighten / dim lights."
• "Alexa, brighten / dim lights by <0% - 100%>."
• "Alexa, brighten / dim lights to <0% - 100%>."
• "Alexa, turn up / down lights to <0% - 100%>."
• "Alexa, set lights to <0% - 100%>."
• "Alexa, increase / decrease lights."

Set Light Color or Shade of White

• "Alexa, make lights cooler / warmer."
• "Alexa, change lights to <2000 - 7000> Kelvin."
• "Alexa, set lights to <shade of white>."

  Shades of white: cool white / warm white / soft white / daylight / candlelight / incandescent.

• "Alexa, set lights to <color>."
  

  Color choices: white, red, crimson, salmon, orange, gold, yellow, green, turquoise, cyan, sky blue, blue, purple, magenta, pink, lavender.

Switch Scenes

• "Alexa, activate <scene name>."
• "Alexa, set lights to <scene name>."
• "Alexa, turn on <scene name> in <group name>."
