How to Download Songs from Spotify to Play Offline

1. Introduction
Want to take your music with you, where you won't have Internet? This guide will show you how to download your favorite songs with Spotify, so you always have your music available.
Tools You'll Need:
A paperclip
iPhone charging cable
Access to a computer with iTunes installed
Any other non-consumable tools needed
Comment out tools section if no tools are necessary

In order to download and listen to songs offline, you must have a Premium account with Spotify.
2. Download Songs, Playlists, and Albums from Spotify
Download a Song or Album from SpotifySpotify gives you the ability to curate a personal playlist made up of your favorite songs. If you wish to download individual songs, you must first put them onto this playlist and then download the playlist.
Add a Song to A Playlist
Select Search at the bottom, and locate the songs you'd like to download.
When you see a song you want to download for later, select the Menu on the right.
Select Add to Playlist.
Select a playlist or create a new one to add your song to.
Repeat these steps for any other songs you want to keep.
Add an Album to A Playlist
If you are looking to download just a single album, you can create a new playlist and put just that album in it!
Select Search at the bottom, and locate the album you'd like to download.
When you see the Album you want to download for later, select the Menu on the right.
Select Add to Playlist.
Select a playlist or create a new one to add your song to.
Repeat these steps for any other Albums you want to keep.
How to Download a Playlist from Spotify
Open Spotify, and select Your Library at the bottom.
Select Playlist at the top, then select the Playlist you'd like to download.
Set the Download toggle switch to On for the playlist.
Repeat these steps for any other playlists you'd like to download.
3. Play Music Downloaded from Spotify
You can play music you've downloaded exactly the same as streaming. But, for items you've downloaded, you can play them even if you're offline, and playing them won't take any of your mobile data.
Open Spotify, and select Your Library at the bottom.
Look through your playlists for an item you've downloaded; they will have an arrow pointing down in a circle next to them.
You can play a downloaded playlist just like your normal playlists in Spotify!
4. Remove Music You Downloaded from Spotify
Removing music doesn't delete it forever. You can still play any music you remove.
Spotify will simply stream it to your device over your Internet connection, rather than having it stored on your device, taking up space.
Remove a Song From A Downloaded Playlist
Select Your Library at the bottom.
Look through your playlists for an item you've downloaded; they will have an arrow pointing down in a circle next to them.
Select the Menu for the song you'd like to remove.
Select Remove From Playlist.
Remove An Entire Playlist From Downloads
This does not delete the playlist itself. The playlist remains intact, and playable via streaming, but the songs themselves are no longer copied to your device.
Select Your Library at the bottom.
Look through your playlists for an item you've downloaded; they will have an arrow pointing down in a circle next to them.
Set the toggle switch for Downloaded to Off.
Delete An Entire Playlist
You cannot delete someone else's public Playlist. Only a Playlist you have created.
Select Your Library at the bottom.
Select the Playlist you wish to delete.
Select the Menu in the top-right corner for the whole Playlist.
