How to Factory Reset a Bose Solo 5 TV Sound System

1. Introduction

You may need to factory reset as part of a troubleshooting step or some other reason. This guide will walk you through factory resetting your Bose Solo 5 sound bar.

2. Forget Paired Bluetooth Device

  1. On the remote control, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator blinks blue.

  1. On your mobile device, remove the Bose Solo device from your list.

3. Delete Paired Bluetooth Device

  1. Swipe down on your screen to access the menu.
  2. Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.

  1. Slide Bluetooth ON if it isn't already.

  1. Tap the gear icon next to the device you wish to unpair.

  1. Tap Unpair.

  1. The Bluetooth device has now been unpaired and can be added again if you wish.

4. Delete Paired Bluetooth Device

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  1. Tap Bluetooth. Note: Bluetooth must be switched on for a list of devices to display.

  1. Tap the "i" icon to the right of the device name.

  1. Tap Forget this Device.

  1. Tap Forget this Device in the dialogue box. Your device is no longer recognized by your phone or tablet.
