Introduction

You may need to perform a factory reset on your LeapFrog Epic Android-based tablet as part of a troubleshooting step, or if you plan on selling it or giving it away. This guide will take you through the steps to reset your LeapFrog Epic to its factory default settings.

Restoring your device to its factory default settings will remove all user data.

1 Factory Reset

  1. Go to the Parent Settings by tapping the icon of a parent and child.

  2. You will be prompted for your four digit Parent Lock Code.
  3. After entering the Parent Lock Code, you will be brought to the Parent Settings menu. In the Parent Settings menu, tap on Device.

  4. On the next screen, tap Device Settings.

  5. Tap Reset.

  7. Tap Reset Tablet.
