1 Factory Reset a Ring Video Doorbell
Resetting a Ring Video Doorbell to its factory default state will erase all its saved settings and preferences.
- Make sure the doorbell is powered up if it's hardwired or the battery is charged.
- Press and hold the reset button on the back of the doorbell for 15 seconds.
- After releasing it, the ring light located on the front will flash a few times indicating the doorbell is restarting.
- The doorbell is now reset to factory defaults. If you want to set it up again, you'll need to use the Ring app to reconnect it to your WiFi network.
