How to Factory Reset an eero Beacon

1. Introduction

You can reset an eero Beacon to its factory default state if it's no longer working as intended and you've exhausted all troubleshooting options, or if you plan on selling it or giving it away. This guide will take you through that process.

Before You Begin:

Resetting an eero Beacon to its factory default state will clear all network configurations, clear its session and logs, and remove it from your network.

2. Factory Reset

Make sure the eero Beacon has been powered on for at least 45 seconds before performing the factory reset.

  1. Locate the reset button on the left side of the eero Beacon.

  1. Press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds or until the front indicator light flashes red then release it.

  1. When the front indicator light starts flashing blue, the eero Beacon is reset to factory defaults and ready to be set up again.
