  • Reset and keep my games and keep my games and apps
This is the best option to use if your Xbox One is unstable and you’re trying to troubleshoot the issue. The OS will reset and delete corrupt data and keep your games and apps.
  • Reset and remove everything
Choose this if you are ready to set your Xbox to factory settings (which is the option you want to choose if you’re selling the console or giving it to someone else). You may have to choose this option if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you are troubleshooting. Always use this option as a last resort.
