Reset User Settings
You can setup specific settings for up to 2 users, and store them in U1 and U2, accessed by the left top dial. This will guide you through resetting those user settings.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Setup 🔧 > Reset user settings.
- Select Reset U1 or Reset U2 to reset the user settings for each.
Reset Photo Shooting Settings
These settings deal with the settings for each photo you take, such as image quality, white balance, resolution, file names, etc.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Shooting 📷 > Reset photo shooting menu.
Reset Movie Shooting Settings
These settings deal with the settings for each movie you take, such as quality, white balance, resolution, file names, etc.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Movie 🎥 > Reset movie shooting menu.
Reset Custom Settings
These settings deal with the how the camera operates, such as if it makes beeps as you go through menus, ISO sensitivity steps, focus tracking, and other controls.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Custom Settings 🖉 > Reset custom settings.
Factory Reset
This resets all settings, except those stored in User Settings.
- Push and hold the ISO and ➕/➖ buttons for more than 2 seconds.
- The display on top of the camera will go blank for a brief moment during the reset.
