Introduction

This guide will demonstrate how to restore the temperature slider on the home screen of your ecobee Smart Thermostat if you can no longer see or interact with it.
Before You Begin:
Your thermostat must already be set up in your home
ecobee.

1 Show Temperature Slider

If you're missing the temperature slider(s) on the thermostat's main screen, you need to make sure the HVAC system is turned on.

To Turn On Your HVAC System

  1. Press Menu on the main screen.
    Menu icon highlighted on ecobee screen.
  2. Go to System.
    System option highlighted in ecobee menu.
  3. Then select HVAC.

  4. And make sure the HVAC system is set to either Heat, Cool or Auto.
