How to Fix Apps on a SkyStream One

1. Introduction

This guide will walk you through repairing app issues such as lock ups, errors and so on.

2. Restart

Please use the power adapter that came with your SkyStream One

Remove the power cable from the back of your SkyStream One.
Wait 30 seconds.
Connect the power supply into the back of the Android TV Box.

3. Check Connection

Go to Settings.

Select Network.

Make sure your network shows connected, to either Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

4. Clear Application Data

Push the Home button on the remote.

Select Settings.

Select Other.

Select Apps.

Select the app you are having problems with.

Select Clear cache and Clear data.

You may need to sign back into the app when you open it again.

5. Introduction

The next steps will guide you through reinstalling the app you are having issues with. We'll start by uninstalling the app, and then we'll reinstall it from the Google Play store.

6. Uninstall App

Push the Home button on the remote.

Select Settings.

Select Other.

Select Apps.

Select the app you want to uninstall.

Select Uninstall.

Select OK to uninstall the app.

7. Install App

Launch the Play Store on your device.

Search for your desired app using the search box located at the top.
Touch the magnifying glass on the on-screen keyboard to search.

On the app's install page, touch INSTALL.
Review the install prompt that pops up. Once done, touch ACCEPT.
Wait for the download to finish. Once done, touch OPEN to launch the app or go back to your apps to access the new app's icon.

8. Updating the SkystreamTV Update Program

After Skystream One is connected to your network, it will prompt to check for update. Select YES.

If update is available, select INSTALL UPDATE.

Once the update is downloaded, select INSTALL.
The update will take a few minutes to install.
Select OPEN to open the SkystreamTV Update app.
Select CONTINUE.

Skystream TV update will open.
A list of Skystream updaters will be presented. Updaters are programs that will automatically find and install updates for the specified application. You only need to install the updater once and then you can forget about it. For example, installing the "Skystream TV KODI Updater without Adult Add-Ons - Family Friendly" will keep the family friendly version of KODI updated going forward.

Select the updater you would like to install by clicking the INSTALL button.
Once the updater is downloaded and installed, the application will launch and be ready to use.
