How to Fix Beats Studio3 Can't Connect to Bluetooth

1. Introduction

Bluetooth is a technology standard for transmitting data between one device to another. Unlike Wi-Fi, which can blanket your entire house and allow connection to the internet, bluetooth only connects one device to another device.

In the case of your Beats Studio3 Headset, you'll use bluetooth to connect your headset to your computer or mobile device.

2. Charge the Headset

1. Plug the micro-USB into your headphones.
   

1. Your Beats Studio3 will begin to charge.

3. Check the Bluetooth Range

The device needs to be within a reasonable range in order to connect.

• In general, to pair and use a Bluetooth device (like a speaker, headset or smartwatch), the device needs to be within 10 feet of your computer or other device.
• Some medium and higher-power devices can be farther, up to about 30 feet, but this tends to be for larger devices that plug in or have very large batteries, such as another computer, media streaming device, or a plug-in speaker system.
  

Try moving the Bluetooth device closer if you have trouble.

4. Power Cycle the Headset

The first, and arguably easiest, thing to do when your RemoteTalk isn't working is just to turn off your Beats Studio3 headset and then turn it on again. This will disconnect it from the device you're playing music from or on a call and let it renew the connection. If there's any issue with the connection, a simple power cycle should take care of it.

1. Press the power button and power off the device.

2. Press the power button and power on the device.
3. Go ahead and play a song or make a call and make sure RemoteTalk is working.

5. Enable Pairing Mode for Beats Studio3

1. Press and hold the power button on the headset (approximately 5 seconds) until you see the lights fading in and out.
