1. Introduction
In This Guide
You'll Learn How To:
Diagnose and troubleshoot common Bluetooth issues between your PC and Bluetooth device.
Before We Begin:
Verify your PC meets the hardware requirements of your Bluetooth device.
Your PC should be powered up and ready to use.
Your Bluetooth device should be charged up, powered on, and ready to use.
2. Charging
To charge the Blaze:
Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.
Remove the tracker from the wristband. To do so, turn the wristband over and push the screen gently so that it detaches from the frame.
Put the tracker inside the charging cradle with the screen facing towards you. The four gold prongs should be aligned.
Close the cradle cover.
When your tracker is securely in the cradle, a large battery icon appears to let you know charging has started.
3. Range Check
The device needs to be within a reasonable range in order to connect.
In general, to pair and use a Bluetooth device (like a speaker, headset or smartwatch), the device needs to be within 10 feet of your computer or other device.
Some medium and higher-power devices can be farther, up to about 30 feet, but this tends to be for larger devices that plug in or have very large batteries, such as another computer, media streaming device, or a plug-in speaker system.
Try moving the Bluetooth device closer if you have trouble.
4. Restart
A restart deletes any saved notifications.
Press and hold the Back (left) and Select (right bottom) buttons on the Blaze until you see the Fitbit logo. The logo should appear in less than 10 seconds.
Let go of the buttons.
5. Restart
Hold down the power button on your Android device. Depending on the manufacturer and model of Android device you have, the location of the power button will vary.
