Your speaker has an internal battery that needs to be charged before you can use it.

  1. Using the included cable, connect your speaker to a wall charger or desktop computer.
  2. Connect the other end to the charging port on the back of your speaker.

Your speaker will charge fully in about two to three hours.

Your speaker will make it a priority to play sound from any wired device attached first. While troubleshooting, it's best to disconnect any wired devices.

  1. Make sure nothing is connected to your speaker's AUX port.

The device needs to be within a reasonable range in order to connect.

  • In general, to pair and use a Bluetooth device (like a speaker, headset or smartwatch), the device needs to be within 10 feet of your computer or other device.
  • Some medium and higher-power devices can be farther, up to about 30 feet, but this tends to be for larger devices that plug in or have very large batteries, such as another computer, media streaming device, or a plug-in speaker system.

Try moving the Bluetooth device closer if you have trouble.

Powering off, then back on your speaker and sending device can often help resolve many Bluetooth issues you may encounter.

  1. Push and hold the Power button on the back of your speaker. You will hear descending tones, letting you know it's turned off.

  4. Tap on the Bluetooth device in the list to pair with it.

Your Speaker will show up on your Bluetooth Device named HEYDAY SPEAKER 01.

Depending on what device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) and which generation you have, the menu theme and options might look slightly different on your screen. However, the steps should be the same across all iOS devices and generations.

  1. Open Settings on your phone or tablet.

  2. Select Bluetooth.

  3. Make sure that the Bluetooth feature is enabled by flipping the On / Off switch to the green position then wait for the Bluetooth device to show up in the list.
