2. Power Cycle

  1. Push the power button on the back of your Range Extender. It will 'pop out', and the Netgear logo on top will turn off.

  1. Wait ten seconds.

  1. Turn the power back on, and make sure the power light goes on.

  1. Wait one minute for the Range extender to start back up fully.

  1. Make sure your smartphone, computer, or other device has re-connected to your Range Extender's Wi-Fi Network.

3. Factory Reset Check

The next step is to factory reset and re-setup your Range Extender.

You will need to re-setup the Range Extender from the beginning, as if it were new.
