How to Fix Issues with the Wally App

1. Introduction

In This Guide

You'll Learn How To:

  • Get your Wally app functioning properly

Before We Begin:

  • You will need to be near your Wally hub
  • Make sure you have your Wally account information handy

2. Reboot

Quickly tap and release the Reset button on the back of the Wally hub.

3. Restart

  1. Hold down the power button on your Android device.
    Depending on the manufacturer and model of Android device you have, the location of the power button will vary.
  2. A prompt will appear on-screen. Select Restart.

If the menu does not pop up, continue to hold the power button, and your Android device will shut off.

  • If you had to shut down your Android device, wait 30 seconds before turning your device back on.

4. Uninstall Android App

  1. Tap and hold on Wally app and slide/drag to Uninstall.

5. Install Android App

Install Process

  1. Launch the Play Store on your smartphone.
Google Play Store.
  1. Type in Wally in the search bar.

  1. Select the Wally app from the list.

6. Initial Setup

  1. Open the Wally app from your home screen.

  1. Tap Continue.

  1. Read the disclosure and then tap on Agree.

7. Log In to Account

  1. Enter your Wally username and password and then tap on the Log In button.

  1. Tap Notify Me to receive app notifications.
  2. If you do not wish to receive app notifications, you may instead click Not Now.

8. Post Login Information

After successfully logging into your Wally account, the app should display all of the devices and sensors you previously had access to.

Quickly tap and release the Reset button on the back of the Wally hub.

11. Restart

Powering off an iPhone.
  1. Hold down the lock/power button.
  2. Slide to power off when prompted.
  3. Wait until the phone is off.
  4. Hold down the lock/power button until you see the Apple logo.

12. Uninstall IOS App

  1. Tap and hold the Wally app icon until all app icons are shaking, then tap the "X".

  1. Tap Delete to Uninstall the app.

13. Install iOS App

  1. Open the App Store.

  1. Select Search in the bottom right corner.

  1. Type Wally - Home Sensor Network in the search bar.

  1. Search for the Wally - Home Sensor Network app from the list and tap the Get button.

  1. If you have previously downloaded the app in the past, press the cloud icon to download the app. You will not be prompted to tap on the Install button.
