Introduction
Your Westinghouse Smart TV is capable of running apps which at times may not work as intended. This guide will assist with troubleshooting these apps.
1 Restart App
Press the Menu or Return buttons on the Remote Control to quit an app then launch it again.

Press the Menu or Return buttons on the Remote Control to quit an app then launch it again.
- Turn it off by pressing the Power button on the unit itself or on the remote.
- Then unplug it from the power outlet.
- Wait for 10 seconds.
- Plug it back in then turn the TV back on from the Power button.
- Remove the power cable from both your modem and router.
- Verify all lights are off on the modem and router.
- After 30 seconds, plug in your modem and then your router.
- It may take a few minutes for the internet to reconnect.
- You may have to shut down or disconnect other unused devices that are connected to the same network.
- If your device is connected via Wi-Fi, its distance from the router, as well as well as other environmental factors can affect the quality of the signal. Try moving your router to a more central location or use a Wi-Fi extender.
- The best type of connection is a wired Ethernet connection. If possible, this is the way to go.
Enable an App
- Use the Arrows ▲/▼/►/◄ on the Remote Control to navigate and highlight your choices then press OK to confirm them.
- From the main screen, go into TV Settings and then select App Settings.
- Select Enable App.
Disable an App
- Use the Arrows ▲/▼/►/◄ on the Remote Control to navigate and highlight your choices then press OK to confirm them.
- From the main screen, go into TV Settings and then select App Settings.
- Select Deactivate App.
Resetting the device to factory defaults will erase all saved settings and preferences.
- Turn the TV on by pressing the Power button on the main unit or on the remote.
- Navigate the menu by using the Remote Control. Press the Arrows ▲/▼/►/◄ to navigate and highlight your choices then press OK to confirm them.
- Press the Menu button on the remote and navigate to TV Settings then select General.
- Go to Restore Default.
- Your TV will be reset to its factory default settings.
