1. Introduction

The Super NES Classic Edition system looks and feels just like the original ’90s home console, except it’s super small. This guide will go over how to resolve sound issues you may encounter with your SNES Classic Edition game console.

3. Check Cabling

Nintendo has found that many issues can be caused by using an underpowered AC adapter or power source; the Power LED may be lit, but there may not be an image or sound. If you are powering up the Super NES Classic Edition using an after-market AC adapter, the USB port on your TV, or other device, you will need to use the original AC adapter that came with the console instead.

  • Ensure the USB cable is plugged firmly into the back of the console and the original AC adapter that came in the box directly into a wall outlet.

  • Check the HDMI cable ends and device ports and remove any foreign objects.

  • Check for cable damage on both the USB cable and HDMI cable. If either is damaged, it should be replaced.

  • Securely reconnect the HDMI cable between your devices.

  • Try using a different high-speed HDMI cable. Some cables are higher quality than others, a low-quality cable may impact your sound and video signal.

4. Check TV input

Checking the TV inputs may also help to fix the issue.

  1. Confirm that both your TV and the device are turned on.
  2. Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).
  3. Check that the HDMI cable connection to your device is secure.
  4. Check that the HDMI cable connection to your TV is secure.
  5. Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the device.
  6. Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.
  7. Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your device to your TV.
  8. If possible:
  9. Check if TV is working properly with a different input device.
