How to Fix Sound Issues on a SNES Classic Edition

1. Introduction

The Super NES Classic Edition system looks and feels just like the original ’90s home console, except it’s super small. This guide will go over how to resolve sound issues you may encounter with your SNES Classic Edition game console.

2. Check Volume & Muting

1. On your TV remote, use the Volume Up/Down buttons.

2. Check that the audio is not muted by also toggling the Mute button.
   

3. Check Cabling

Nintendo has found that many issues can be caused by using an underpowered AC adapter or power source; the Power LED may be lit, but there may not be an image or sound. If you are powering up the Super NES Classic Edition using an after-market AC adapter, the USB port on your TV, or other device, you will need to use the original AC adapter that came with the console instead.

• Ensure the USB cable is plugged firmly into the back of the console and the original AC adapter that came in the box directly into a wall outlet.
