Link your smart home device with Google Assistant.
You'll Need:
Your account with the smart home device's provider
Your smart home device already installed and set up with that account
A mobile device running one of the following apps:
Google Home
Google Assistant
2. Link Device
Launch the Google Home app.
Tap Add on the main screen.
On the Add and manage screen, tap Set up device.
Under Works with Google, tap Have something already set up?.
Scroll through the list of smart home device providers and tap the one you want to add. Since the list is rather long you can also tap Search and enter the name to locate it quicker.
Sign in with the account you've created for the provider's service and to allow Google Assistant to control your smart home device using your voice.
You can now give voice commands to Google Assistant to control your linked device.

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.
There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

4. Link Device
Tap and hold the Home icon, which is the circle at the bottom of the screen, to launch Google Assistant.
Then tap the Explore icon which looks like a compass.
Tap More (1) in the top right corner and select Settings (2).
Go to the Assistant (1) tab and select Home Control (2).
Tap Add at the bottom right.
Scroll through the list of smart home device providers and tap the one you want to add to Google Assistant. Since the list is rather long you can also tap Search and type in the name to locate it quicker.
Sign in with the account you've created for the provider's app and to allow Google Assistant to control your smart home device using your voice.
You can now give voice commands to Google Assistant to control your newly added device.

7. Install App
Launch the App Store.
Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
Type "google assistant" in the search bar at the top. The app will show up below.
Tap Get and Install, then Open to use it.
Once opened, tap on Sign In then fill out your Google account information.
