- A mobile device with the FreeFlight Pro app already installed.
To link the SkyController 2 remote control to your Parrot drone the following steps need to be performed:
- Connect your mobile device to the drone's Wi-Fi.
- Connect your remote control to the mobile device with the USB cable.
- The remote control will link to the drone automatically over Wi-Fi with the information retrieved from the mobile device.
Once the linking is complete, the devices will connect automatically when you turn them both on. You will also need to disable your mobile device's Wi-Fi to avoid it conflicting with the remote control's connection to the drone. Only one device can be connected to the drone over Wi-Fi.
- Press and release the button on the rear end of the drone to turn it on.
- The drone will make an initialization sound and the button will light up and blink a few times until it stabilizes.
To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.
