How to Play Music on a Panasonic Smart TV

1. Introduction

TV Remote 2 is a TV control application for enabling easy operation, setting and sharing the contents with the Panasonic Smart TV.
Install TV Remote 2 in your mobile device, connect it via Wi-Fi to the home network to which the TV is connected, and then you can use the device as a dedicated remote control and also enjoy various link operations.

In order to stream audio/video to your Smart TV, both your TV and Mobile device must be connected to the same network.

2. TV Setup

The following steps need to be taken from the Panasonic TV before attempting to connect your device.

1. Hit the Menu button on the remote.

2. Highlight Network and hit OK on the remote.

2. Highlight Network Connection and hit OK on the remote.

2. Select Quick Setup and hit OK on the remote.

2. If you have previously connected to Wi-Fi it will attempt to automatically connect to your network. Otherwise, highlight your Wireless Network and hit OK on the remote.

2. Using the remote enter your Wi-Fi Security Key (Password) and hit the Return key to connect.

2. Wireless Security Keys are case sensitive. Be sure you are using correct case when entering this on the remote. 
3. Once you are connected it will perform a Network Status test to confirm you are connected fully to the internet. Highlight Next/Exit and hit OK on the remote.

2. Select TV Remote App Settings and hit OK on the remote

2. Ensure the Viera Remote setting says On then press Back on the remote.

2. Highlight Network Link and hit OK on the remote.

2. Toggle DLNA Server to On/Enable if you wish to be able to watch items from the TV on your mobile device and then press Back on the remote.

2. Highlight Software Update to make sure you're on the latest firmware. This will ensure you a bug-free experience.
   

3. Install Android App

1. Open Play Store.
   

1. Type "Panasonic TV Remote 2" in the search bar.
   

1. Select Panasonic TV Remote 2 in the search results.
2. Click Install to start downloading the app.
   

1. Click Open to proceed to the setup.
   

4. Setup App

1. Open the Panasonic TV Remote 2 app.

2. Select the TV you wish to control from the list.
   

TV's that have been connected to your network will automatically show up on your mobile device as long as you are on the same network.

5. Streaming to TV

To stream audio/video from your mobile device, follow these steps.

1. Open the Panasonic TV Remote 2 app.

2. Click the Menu button and tap on Swipe & Share.

2. Select the device that contains the desired content, and then select the item you wish to stream.

2. You can now swipe to play/copy contents from your mobile device to your Panasonic TV.
   

To stream from applications follow these steps.

1. Open the Panasonic TV Remote 2 app.

2. Click the Menu button and tap on App Launcher.

2. Tap on the application you wish to use.
   

6. Install iOS App

1. Open App Store.
   

1. Type in "Panasonic TV Remote 2" in the search bar.
   

1. Select Panasonic TV Remote 2 in the search results.
2. Choose GET and install the app.
   

1. Open the app to proceed with the setup.
