2. How to Pair an X1 Remote to an Xfinity TV Box Your Xfinity X1 Remote can only be paired with one TV Box at a time. If you wish to pair it with another box you'll need to repeat the pairing steps.
Turn your television on. Make sure it is on the right input for your TV Box. On your remote, press and hold the Setup button. If you don't have a setup button you can press and hold the Xfinity and Info(i) buttons together. The LED at the top of the remote will change from red to green. Press the Xfinity button. A 3-digit code will appear on your television's screen. Using the remote, input the code. Your television will tell you when the remote has paired. Press the OK button on your remote to finish. 3.
