How to Remove a Switch+ from an ecobee Account

1. Introduction

In This Guide

You'll Learn How To:

• Remove your Ecobee Switch+ from your Ecobee account.
• Optionally, factory reset your Ecobee Switch+.

Before We Begin:

• Have the Ecobee app installed on your smartphone or tablet.
• Be near the Ecobee Switch+, if you wish to factory reset the device.

2. Remove from Account

1. Open the Ecobee app.
   

1. Select Switches.
   

1. Select your Switch+ from the list.
   

1. Select Menu at the bottom-left.
   

1. Select About.
   

1. Select Remove Device From Account at the bottom.
   

1. A confirmation message will open, select Remove.
   

3. Factory Reset

1. Press and hold the main button on your Ecobee Switch+ for 5 seconds.
   

1. Wait for the voice prompt to say "Reset to factory settings".
2. Press the main button again.
