Authored by: Support.com Tech Pro Team

1. Introduction

Your TCL Smart TV has a display aspect ratio of 16:9. Movies, TV shows or other programming can have the same or a different ratio. If the content you are watching is of a different ratio, you will either see vertical or horizontal bars on the sides of the screen. If you want to get rid of those bars, this guide will show you how to modify the picture size to fill the entire screen.
