How to Reset a Sengled Smart Home Device
Introduction
1 Restart Smart Light
In most cases, restarting the smart light or plug is enough to bring it back online and working properly again.
It is critically important you don't dismiss or skip over this first step, even if it seems too simple to fix the problem.
- Turn off the power to your smart device. This may mean flipping the switch or unplugging the device, depending.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug back in or turn back on your smart device.
- Wait 30 seconds for the device to re-connect to your hub.
- Try accessing your smart device from your app again.
2 Reset Smart Device Network
In many cases, doing a full restart of your home network and devices can help resolve many problems you may have with your home automation devices.
- Turn off the device having problems.
Normally you don't turn off your device, we are doing it as part of troubleshooting, and will turn it back on later.
- Unplug your hub.
Bluetooth or WiFi devices will not have a hub, skip this step.
- Turn off or unplug your modem and router.
All of your smart home devices end up communicating over your home network, resetting it is key to resolving many problems like this.
- Wait 30 seconds.
It is important to wait a few moments so no damage occurs to your equipment, and it has time to discharge any remaining power and fully turn off.
- Plug in your modem and router.
- Wait 60 seconds for your home network to come back up.
It may take longer than 60 seconds for your home network to return; watch the "Online" lights on your modem and router to become solid.
- Plug in your Hub if you have one.
- Turn on the smart lights or devices that were having problems.
- Wait 60 seconds for your hub to come back up, and for your devices to re-connect automatically.
- Try using your app to control your smart devices again.
3 Reset Check

Sengled Element Bulb
- Turn on the light.
- Wait five seconds.
- turn off then on the light 10 times quickly.
Your light will flash to indicate it is reset.

Sengled Element Light Strip
- Make sure your light strip is plugged into a power outlet.
- Using a paperclip, push and hold the reset switch for eight seconds.
- The lightstrip will cycle through blue, green, and red to indicate it's reset.

Sengled Element Smart Plug
- Plug in your smart plug.
- Wait five seconds.
- Push and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- The power button will flash blue to indicate it has reset.

Sengled WiFi Bulb
- Turn on the light.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- turn off then on the light five times quickly.
Your light will flash to indicate it is reset.

Sengled Boost WiFi Repeater Bulb
- Turn on your light.
- Wait 60 seconds for the bulb to finish its startup process.
- Push and hold the reset button on the bulb for five seconds.
- The bulb will blink to indicate the reset was successful.


Sengled Pulse or Solo Bluetooth Speaker Bulb
- Open Settings, and select Connected devices.
- Select Connection preferences.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Select the gear to the right of the Sengled Pulse item.
- Select Unpair.
- Open Settings, and select Bluetooth.
- Select the Sengled Pulse item.
- Select Forget This Device.
- Select Forget Device at the bottom.

Sengled Snap Camera Bulb
- Turn on your Snap Bulb.
- Wait one minute for your bulb to start up.
- Push and hold the reset button on the side of the bulb for ten seconds.
- The light will flash, indicating it's reset.
