How to Reset a Yamaha Blu-Ray Player

1. Introduction

If your Yamaha Blu-ray player is not working as intended and you've exhausted all other possible repair steps, or you want to give it to someone else, you can reset it to factory defaults.

2. Factory Reset

Resetting the device to factory defaults will erase all saved settings, preferences and user stored data.

1. Make sure the device is powered on.
2. Eject any disc from the tray and ensure playback is stopped.
3. Press and hold the Pause, Stop and Eject buttons on the front panel of the player simultaneously until it powers off.
