How to Restore the RoboForm data

 

2. Restore Data

RoboForm's Backup and Restore is a useful tool if you ever wish to revert your RoboForm data to a previous moment in time.

3. Windows

1) Click the [ ^ ] button (Show hidden icons) in the lower right corner of your screen.

2) Click the RoboForm icon.

3) Select "Options" from the menu.

4) Select "Account & Data" from the column on the left.

5) Click the "Backup and Restore" button.

6) Two sets of backups should be shown: a folder titled "Local" and a folder titled "On Server." The files within these folders can be used by selecting "Restore" to the right of the date you wish to restore from. Within that backup, check the box or boxes which correspond to the data you wish to restore. Then, click the "Restore" button in the bottom left corner.


7) If you do not see the data you wish to restore, click the "Restore from Folder" button at the top of the screen. Then, select the folder that contains the saved copy of your RoboForm data that you'd like to restore. Click "OK" once selected. 


8) RoboForm will then attempt to restore the data. In order to complete this process, you will need to input your Master Password used at the time of the backup.

4. Mac

1) Click the RoboForm icon in the top right on the Menu bar.

2) Select "Preferences" from the menu.

3) Select "Account & Data" from the column on the left.

4) Click the "Backup and Restore" button.

5) Two sets of backups should be shown: a folder titled "Local" and a folder titled "On Server." The files within these folders can be used by selecting "Restore" to the right of the date you wish to restore from. Within that backup, check the box or boxes which correspond to the data you wish to restore. Then, click the "Restore" button in the bottom left corner.

6) If you do not see the data you wish to restore, click the "Restore from Folder" button at the top of the screen. Then, select the folder that contains the saved copy of your RoboForm data that you'd like to restore. Click "Select Folder" once selected. 

7) RoboForm will then attempt to restore the data. In order to complete this process, you will need to input your Master Password used at the time of the backup.

5. iOS

1) Open the RoboForm app.

2) Tap the 3 dots at the top right corner.

3) Select "Settings" from the menu.

4) Select "Account" from the Settings menu.

5) On the Account page, tap the "Backup and Restore" button.

6) Select the folder containing the data you would like to restore.

7) You will see your created backups listed by the dates they were created. Tap the date which you would like to restore.

8) Within the selected folder you can select specific items to restore or tap the "Select All" button to select all items in the folder.

9) Once you have selected the items you would like to restore, tap the "Restore" button in the bottom left.

10) You will receive a message asking you to confirm that you would like to restore these items, tap "Yes" on this message.

11) Once the item(s) have been successfully restored, you will receive a message confirming that the restoration is complete. Tap "OK" on this message.

6. Android

1) Open the RoboForm app.

2) Tap the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner.

3) Select "Settings" from the menu.

4) Select "Account" from the Settings menu.

5) On the Account page, tap the "Backup and Restore" button.

6) You will see your created backups listed by the dates they were created. Tap the date which you would like to restore.

7) Within the selected folder you can select specific items to restore or tap the "Select All" button to select all items in the folder.

8) Once you have selected the items you would like to restore, tap the "Restore" button in the bottom left.

9) Once the item(s) have been successfully restored, the restored item(s) will display a "Restored" tag.

7. RoboForm Online

1) Login to your active RoboForm Online account at: https://online.roboform.com/login?lang=en

2) Once logged in with your email address and Master Password select the "My Settings" dropdown on the top bar, then click the "User Settings" option.

3) Scroll down to the "Storage" section, and click "Backups." Click "Personal Data" to view your available backups. Then, click the "Open" button to the right of the backup you wish to restore from.

4) A window will appear allowing you to select the specific data you would like to restore from the backup. Check the boxes corresponding to the data you wish to restore, and then click the green "Restore" button.

5) You will be prompted to confirm that you would like to restore this data, click the green "Yes" button, and then click "Close" on the final prompt.

6) The restored data will now be present within your account and upon the next synchronization on your computer(s) or mobile device(s).
