How to Set Up a C by GE Smart Light Switch

Introduction
What You'll Need:
- A WiFi network to be already set up in your home.
- A phone or tablet with Bluetooth 4.0 capability.
Before You Begin:
You must have the smart switch already installed on your wall. Please have a professional install it if you are not comfortable doing it on your own.
You must have the C by GE app installed

1 Smart Switch Setup
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet and you are within 40 feet of the C by GE smart light switch.
- Launch the C by GE app on your phone or tablet.
- Tap Add in the top right corner.
- Then tap Add New Devices.
- Select C-Start Switches.
- You'll be shown a summary of the setup process. At this point, the smart switch should already be installed on your wall. Tap Get Started.
- Once the switch is powered on, it will go into setup mode and display a blue light ring. Tap Continue when you see that light.
- Select the smart switch from the list. The blue light ring will blink green to indicate you've connected to it. Select Continue to proceed.
- Select your WiFi network from the list and tap Continue.
- Enter your WiFi password if required to continue.
- Now select the room where the smart switch is installed and tap Next.
- Give the switch a name then tap Continue.
- Scroll through the bulb categories and select the type of bulbs the switch will control then tap Continue.
- Tap Done to finish, or Set Up Another Switch if you have another one to set up.
