1. Introduction

This guide will teach you how to set up your Flip 4 speaker, how you can play music using a 3.5mm audio cable, or how pair it with your favorite Bluetooth device to play your music wirelessly.

Tools You'll Need:

  • Micro USB cable (included) to charge the speaker.
  • USB wall charger or other powered USB port to charge the speaker.
  • 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker to an external source.

2. Charging Your Speaker

First, make sure your speaker is adequately charged before powering on.

  1. Lift the rubber flap to expose the audio and charging ports of your speaker.

  1. Connect the micro USB cable into the charging port of your speaker. The other end must be connected to a USB charging block or a powered USB port to charge the speaker.
  2. Depending on the method being used to charge your speaker, charging times will vary. Charging your speaker to full takes approximately 3.5 hours.
  3. Always remember to firmly replace the rubber flap on your Flip 4 when the ports beneath are not in use. This flap is part of what allows your Flip 4 to achieve its IPX7 water resistance rating.

3. Play Audio Using an Audio Cable

One way to make use of your Flip 4 speaker is to connect it directly to an audio source with a 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the speaker.
