Before You Begin:
To use your Sengled Pulse and Solo bulbs, you will need to have the Sengled Pulse App installed on your smartphone or tablet.

Sengled offers multiple types of bulbs, each with a slightly different use and program to control them. This guide will help you install and setup the Sengled Pulse or Solo bulb.

1 Install Bulb
- Turn off the power to the lamp or light fixture where you want the smart light.
- Remove your old bulb.
- Carefully screw in your new Sengled bulb.
- Turn your light on.
2 OS Choice
To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.
There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

Some Bluetooth accessories are configured with a PIN or a passkey that is often listed in its manual. Check your Bluetooth accessory manual for the correct PIN or passkey.
Depending on what device (Smartphone or Tablet) and which generation you have, the menu theme and options might look slightly different on your screen. However, the steps should be similar to all Android devices and generations.
Use one of the following connection methods:
- Method 1 - The Drop Down Menu
- Method 2 - Settings
Drop down menu
- Swipe down from the top of the device screen if it's a phone or up from the bottom of the device screen if it's a tablet to access the menu.
- Locate the Bluetooth icon.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth icon.
- Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.
This process will vary depending on what kind of device you have. Refer to your device's documentation for specifics on how to accomplish this.
- Ensure Bluetooth is On and then select your device from the list below.
- If you are prompted for a passkey, put it in. If there is no passkey, then your Bluetooth accessory should be paired now.
Android menu settings
- Locate and tap the Apps Menu.
- Locate and tap the Settings icon.
- Select the Bluetooth. You may need to select Connections first.
- Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.
This process will vary depending on what kind of device you have. Refer to your device's documentation for specifics on how to accomplish this.
- Ensure Bluetooth is On and then select your device from the list below.
- If you are prompted for a passkey, put it in. If there is no passkey, then your Bluetooth accessory should be paired now.
- Open the Sengled Pulse app, then select Lights at the bottom to access controls for turning your light on and off, as well as adjusting the brightness.
- Select Sounds at the bottom to access controls for turning the speaker on or off, as well as adjusting the volume.

From any iOS Device:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Set the Bluetooth accessory in pairing/discovery mode.

- Wait for your iPhone to display the detected Bluetooth accessory.
- Select the Bluetooth accessory to pair it with the iPhone.
- If there is a passkey, put it in.
- If there is no passkey then your Bluetooth accessory should be paired now.
