1 Connect Power

Your FluxSmart light strip comes with a plug, some adhesive and of the light strip.

  1. Using the adhesive, mount your lights in whatever location you desire.
  2. Plug the light strip into an available power outlet.
    Plug into outlet.

2 Ensure the App is Installed

The Flux Bluetooth app is used to setup and manage your lighting. Check to see if you have this app installed on your device.

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.

There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

Android Smartphone iOS Smartphone
Android smartphones are produced by multiple companies, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC, and OnePlus. Apple is the only company that makes iOS smartphones.

  1. Swipe down on your screen (or up, if using a tablet) to access the menu.
  2. Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.

  3. Ensure the Bluetooth switch is set to ON.

  1. Open the Flux Bluetooth app from the home screen.

  2. When you launch the app for the first time, you will be prompted with permission requests. If prompted, tap Allow on these to proceed.

    Denying a permission request may cause the app to not function properly.

    Access photos, media, and Files
    This gives the app access to your photos, media, and other files on your device. Photo, media, and file permissions
    Location
    This will let the app know your location. Location Permisisons
     
  3. A list of available smart lights will appear. Tap Add Device next to the smart light you wish to pair.
  4. Choose a descriptive name for your smart light, then tap Confirm.
  5. You can now tap on a device to begin controlling it.

  1. Open Settings on your phone or tablet.

  2. Then tap Bluetooth.

  3. Make sure Bluetooth is set to On.

  1. Open the Flux Bluetooth app.

  2. A list of available smart lights will appear. Tap Add Device next to the smart light you wish to pair.
  3. Choose a descriptive name for your smart light, then tap Confirm.
  4. You can now tap on a device to begin controlling it.
