How to Set Up Sony RF995RK Wireless Headphones

1. Introduction

This guide will walk you through the basic setup of your Sony RF995RK Wireless headphones.

2. Connections and Power

Install Headphones Battery

1. On the left earcup, push down, then pull out on the outer housing.
   

1. Insert the battery using the markings on the battery itself and battery compartment as your guide.
   

1. Reseat the earcup.
   

Connect to Power

1. Connect the power cable to the base, and the power outlet.
   

Connect to Device

1. Connect the base to either your television, or your music player, using either the headphone jack, or the or the mini-plug to RCA cable.
   

1. If you are using this with your television, select the proper audio output. Refer to your television's user manual for more information on this feature.

3. Charge

1. Place the headset on the base stand, so the contacts meet at the top.
   

1. Double-check your placement at the top, and make sure the red charging light turns on.
2. Once the headset reaches a full charge, the red charging light will turn off.

4. Basic Use

• The Power switch is on the bottom back of the left ear cup, just underneath the little bump to guide your hand.
  

• The volume slider is on the back of the right ear cup. There's a small tactile bump to indicate full volume.
