How to Set Up Sylvania Smart+ Lights

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.

There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

Android Smartphone	iOS Smartphone
Android smartphones are produced by multiple companies, such as Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC, and OnePlus.	Apple is the only company that makes iOS smartphones.

In order to control your Sylvania Smart+ Lighting, you need to use the Sylvania Smart Home app or a third party hub.

Sylvania Smart Home

Sylvania's App to directly control the Bluetooth lights.

You will only be able to control your lights when you are at home using the Sylvania Smart Home app.

Third-Party Hubs

Certain third-party hubs can also control your Sylvania Smart+ lighting.

Wink

The Wink Hub 2 has a built-in Bluetooth antenna that can control your Sylvania Smart+ Lighting.

Samsung SmartThings

The Samsung SmartThings hub provides Bluetooth connectivity and can talk to Sylvania Smart+ Lighting.

1. Open Smart+.
   
2. Select + Add A Group.
   
3. Select the room your Sylvania device is in, or enter a name for your room.
   
4. Select + Add A Device.
   
5. Smart+ will scan your room for devices.
   
6. Follow the instructions on screen to complete adding your device.

1. Open Smart+.
   
2. Here, you can turn On or Off all the lights in the room with the buttons next to the room name. You can also adjust each light individually on the bottom left, and adjust the color and brightness on the right.
