Introduction
Before You Begin:
Your xFi router and xFi pods are setup and controlled using the Xfinity xFi app on your smartphone or tablet.
1 Setup xFi Pods
- Open the Xfinity xFi app, and select More at the bottom.
- Select Xfinity Device.
- Select xFi Pods.
- A welcome screen comes up, select Get Started.
Pod Setup
- Plug in your Pod.
- Hold your phone or tablet near the Pod you just plugged in.
- When detected, the system will automatically setup the Pod for you.
Repeat these steps till you have all your pods setup.
- Select Name Your Pods.
Name Your Pods
- Hold your phone or tablet near one of your Pods.
- Type in a name to describe this Pod, such as what room it's in, then select Confirm Name.
Repeat these steps till you have all your pods setup.
- Your Pods are all set up! Select Finish Setup.
