How to Setup eero with AT&T U-verse
If you have AT&T U-verse, you are required to use the modem equipment supplied to you which typically comes as a modem/router combo device. If you'd like to use eero with your U-verse service, you can bridge your eeros or set up an IP passthrough. We will go into detail for each of these below.
While not required, to avoid conflicting WiFi networks, you may want to disable the 2.4 & 5GHz WiFi on your supplied U-Verse modem/router combo device. This should only be done if you have AT&T internet without TV, as many features with U-Verse TV features require a wireless connection from your supplied device to work. If you are unsure of your current setup or have any questions before taking this step, you may want to contact U-verse.
After you have gone through set up, take the following steps to disable the WiFi:

If you'd like to use your eeros with all the advanced features, it is necessary to set them up in conjunction with your modem/router combo device by creating an IP passthrough.

Putting your eeros into bridge mode
The simplest solution to using eeros with U-verse is putting your eeros into bridge mode. Due to the nature of U-verse and the necessary requirements, it has to pass traffic on your network, and using the eeros in bridge mode will allow you to get all the same benefits of eero's mesh while allowing U-verse to continue to manage all your network's routing. Please note that bridge mode does come with some drawbacks
