Syncing your Samsung Gear Fit2 can be done automatically or manually using the Samsung Health app (also known as S Health) on your smartphone. To pair the device with your smartphone however, you have to use the Samsung Gear app (also known as Samsung Gear Manager).
2. Pairing
Turn on your Samsung Gear Fit2 and bring it within 10 feet of your smartphone.
Open the Samsung Gear app on your smartphone.
Tap on Connect to Gear.
Confirm that the passkey displayed on your smartphone and the one displayed on the Gear Fit 2 match. Then, tap on OK.
Check the boxes to agree with the terms and features then tap on Next.
Tap on Sign In to login to your Samsung account to be able to sync your data. If you don't have an account yet, follow the instructions to create one and fill in your required details.
3. Syncing
Open the Samsung Health app on your smartphone.
Tap on More on the top right corner of the screen.
Then select Settings from the drop down menu.
Go to Account.
If you want to sync manually tap on Sync now.
Or, if you want to enable automatic syncing, flip the switch to the On position to the right of Auto sync.
Either way, you'll see the Syncing status show up on your screen.
After enabling Auto sync, you'll see the app show you the syncing status whenever you launch it.
Alternatively, you can also sync manually from the main screen if you are scrolled all the way to the top and swipe downwards like in the image below. You will see the same status show up as in the above image.
