Syncing your library keeps the library content available to you up-to-date. If, for example, you you add or rename tracks, the library will need to sync before you can browse or search the new or modified content in the app.

Are you using a Mac computer running macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later?

YES, 

iTunes libraries are not supported as of macOS 10.15 (Catalina)

With macOS 10.15 or later, iTunes is no longer included in macOS. Existing SoundTouch iTunes music libraries created on an older macOS version will still be accessible on computers that were upgraded to in macOS 10.15; however, the content of that library cannot be updated or synced.

 

NO, Syncing a stored music library:

Syncing happens automatically in the SoundTouch app. Additions or changes made to content in your library will appear in the SoundTouch app within 15 minutes of the change. If necessary, you can manually sync the library.

Manually sync the Music Library:

  1. Right-click the SoundTouch icon in the system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac)
  2. Select Sync Music Library

Sync a NAS Drive Library

  1. Determine if the NAS drive has a re-index, re-scan or similarly-labeled feature. If it does, re-index the folder containing the library
